We are two working moms experienced in fashion design and daycare.
We have found a wide selection of outdoor clothing for school aged children, but inadequate winter accessories for preschoolers and toddlers. The mittens are easily pulled off and lost, the scarves are too big and long and ill-fitting hats become a nuisance falling over the child's eyes and improperly protecting their ears from the cold winter wind.
Over the past 3 years, we have thoroughly put our mittens, hats and scarves to the test and have come up with what we know to be the perfect product. When tested on children, we found they enjoyed extended playtime as the mittens left their hands warm and dry. The mittens being light weight and flexible enable the children to grab shovels and other toys with ease. The hats stayed in place and the scarves did not interfere with play.
